Since 1996, the St Barth Film Festival has created a showcase for the creativity of cinema and the richness of Caribbean culture.

April 29th to May 1st: Tour of St Barth
The St Barth Tour is an annual competition organized by the Nautical Centre of St Barthélemy comprising windsurfing, sport catamarans, and laser sailboats for a tour around the island. Great fun to watch!

The West Indies Regatta is a three day event held annually over the Mayday weekend in St Barth celebrating traditional West Indian Sails.

July 15th: Fête de la Collectivité
Saint Barthélemy was a municipality of Guadeloupe, but after the adoption of organic law 2007-223 of January 21, 2007 (published in the Official Journal on January 22) the island became a French Overseas Collectivity (COM) on July 15, 2007.
